02Nature of our services

UNSEEN. acts as an independent advisor and coordinator.

UNSEEN. is not a travel organiser or retailer.

03How we are paid

Every request involves two distinct amounts: the provider's cost and our service fee.

Service fees are set per request and communicated in advance.

UNSEEN. may be paid a commission by a provider; this never increases the client's price.

UNSEEN. never presents a marked-up price as a cost price.

04Booking, payment and cancellation

A proposal is valid for fourteen days. A booking is formed on written acceptance and receipt of the deposit.

100% of the provider's cost and 50% of the service fee are payable on booking.

Payment is by bank transfer, in euros.

Committed provider costs follow that provider's cancellation policy.

05Payment security

Our bank details are communicated once and appear on every invoice.

UNSEEN. never notifies a change of bank details by email alone.

The same verification applies in reverse to our own payments.

06What we guarantee, and what we do not

UNSEEN. is bound by a reinforced obligation of means.

UNSEEN. guarantees the performance of the service described, not its commercial outcome.

UNSEEN. informs the client without delay of any difficulty.

07Confidentiality and client discretion

UNSEEN. operates under a standing duty of absolute discretion.

Correspondence sent by UNSEEN. is intended solely for its named recipients.

Every provider we use is bound by equivalent written undertakings.

08Proprietary content and non-circumvention

Itineraries, proposals, supplier introductions, rates, contacts and creative concepts are proprietary work product.

They may not be used to contract directly with any introduced party for twelve months.

09No binding offer

Unless expressly stated in a signed agreement, nothing published on this site constitutes a firm offer.

10Liability

UNSEEN. answers for its own failings, not for those of third-party providers.

Liability is limited to direct and foreseeable loss, capped at the service fees received.

11Personal data

Personal data is processed by UNSEEN. as controller, under the GDPR.

What we collect and why

Identity and contact details, and the information needed to arrange a service.

Identity documents

Identity documents are requested only once a service is confirmed, and deleted within thirty days.

Who receives it

Only the providers strictly necessary to deliver the service, and only the details they need.

How long we keep it

For the time needed to deliver the service, then for the legally required periods.
